Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brubaker/Philips at their finest Whenever you see a comic by the writer/artist team of Ed Brubaker and Sean Philips, you know it'll be a good comic. Honestly, the team are impervious to a bad comic. Sleeper, Criminal, Fatale. The list goes on. The Fade Out is no different. It's dirty noir crime fiction set in Los Angeles and Hollywood. It's a fantastic mystery with an assortment of great, if morally reprehensible, characters.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent This hardcover collects the entirety of the Fade Out. I own several of these collections by Brubaker/Phillips (Incognito, Fatale, etc.) and I have never been led astray by this creative team. Every single one has been a high quality read and the Fade Out is no exception. These guys are the masters of comic book noir.
