Swept away into a court of magic and beauty, she discovers she is Tania, the lost princess of Faerie. Since Tania's mysterious disappearance five hundred years before, Faerie has been sunk in darkness and gloom. With her return, Faerie comes alive again as a land of winged children, glittering balls, and fantastic delights. But Tania can't forget Anita's world, or the boy she loved there.

Torn between two loves and between two worlds, Tania slowly remembers why she disappeared, and realizes that she is the only one who can stop a sinister plan that threatens the entire world of Faerie.

Frewin Jones has always believed in the existence of "other worlds" that we could just step in and out of if we only knew the way. In the Mortal World, Frewin lives in southeast London with a mystical cat called Siouxsie Sioux.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Drawn to the book for the beautiful cover - stayed for the story! I ended up really enjoying this book. Anita thinks she lives just a normal life, then some dreams seem distinctly real, then she is told she is a fairie princess who disappeared 500 years ago! It is a great introduction to fairies for people who may not have read many books about fairies before. It has a super cute teen romance going on as well. It is very clean for the younger teen and not edgy at all (nothing like Tithe by Holly Black for example). I really did enjoy and can't wait to read the next one. Thanks Vampire Lover for making me finally pick it up off the shelf with that great review!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Adorable This is a really cute novel. Anita thinks she's just your regular run of the mill teenager but around her sixteen birthday she is returned to Faerie where she discovers that she is the youngest of seven daughters and that she disapeared five hundred years ago on her wedding night. I fell in love with Anita/Tania and Evan/Edric right from the beginning. Their adorable personalities and puppy dog romance is so cute. A great teen novel curl up in bed with.
