Rated 4 out of 5 by from great read If you're into a love through the ages then this is a good series for you. The dark and thrilling story line had me hooked from the first book, got a few friends hooked on it too. Also if you do love the series and just HAVE to have complete series (like I do) then check out the companion novel Unforgiven.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Conflicted I remember reading the series when I was in the 7th or 8th grade and thinking it was just amazing, however I don't remember if I ever got to the last book. Recently I saw that the first book was made into a movie and put it on my "List to watch" but I also decided to go back and reread the series, since it's been about 6 or 7 years since I've read it, and it's just not as I remembered. Maybe it's the age thing, but I still recommend this book to slightly younger audiences than me

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great series! A must read, very suspenseful and intriguing story line, keeps you guessing until the end, not at all what you would expect. Very good and worth reading.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Series Definitely a refreshing take on Angels. Story seemed slow and unoriginal at first but the story grew stronger with each book and had quite a few twists and shocks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 4.3 Stars! The first novel started out a bit slow but it did pick up. Star-crossed lovers Luce and Daniel are the main focus of this novel but there are still many other great characters like Cam and Arianne. The second novel picks up where the first one left off. New characters are introduced as Luce is placed in a new school. The other angels do make an appearance, but it was mostly about Luce trying to figure out who she was. The third novel was really interesting to me because Luce manages to travel through past lives and find out more about her relationship with Daniel. I'm glad the last novel ended nicely for Luce and Daniel. Filled with mystery, intrigue and supernatural romance it's no wonder this series was a hit!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from very repetitive i was intrigued by the premise of this series, and it started off quite strong and interesting but then it just became increasingly repetitive when she goes back to her previous lives, which does make sense since she keeps dying when she and Daniel become close. And then the "friend" she meets along the way was just weird and i felt it was obvious that he couldn't be trusted and i just got mad at her. It was on OK series but i felt like it could have ended sooner or had a better resolution throughout the book.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from fantastic kept me looking forward to each book, the third one dragged on a tad but definitely worth reading.
