Rated 4 out of 5 by from He's done it again... I enjoy how Pratchett's books continue to expand in size and complexity; I too, like the watch books the best. In this book however, Pratchett has succeeded in taking the Watch storyline outside of Ankh-Morpork, and twisting in his brand of humour with a combination murder mystery and political intrigue novel. Definitely an interesting and refreshing mix for the Fantasy genre.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Fifth Elephant I like all of Pratchett's books, but the watch-books are the best. And once again this is a very good discworld-novel. There is one drawback though, you should have read some of the other books in order to completely get the humour of the book. Apart from that this is another classic

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally Available in Paperback I LOVE Terry Pratchett-but after the last couple of books before this one, Lost Continent,Jingo, I thought that maybe he had lost his edge. I was very surprized, and pleased, when I read Fifth Elephant. It's classic Discworld. Since I own the rest of the collection in Paperback, I borrowed the hardcover last year to read and eagerly awaited the paperback release. Even though this is a huge series-26 titles-they are funny enough on their own. Buy this one, it'll make you scream with delight.Think what you'd get if you mated Douglas Adams to Monty Python - Terry Pratchett.
