Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good style. Gives good insight into Qatari culture, which is gradually changing now, truth be told. Not so much into Egyptian culture, which it is not required to, I guess, since this is simply a memoir. Very detailed and descriptive, which one enjoys generally, but the constant mentioning of labels and brands of objects, TV and movie characters, etc. was a bit much for me.. Although not my favorite kind of book, can't give it less than 4 stars.
