Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautifully Written This series of books is so beautifully written. I could honestly not put the books down. As soon as I would finish one book I had to start on the next. Though I would say it did get a bit boring in the last book Son. However it showed the true love of a mother for her child which needed to be seen through some of the parts I would call somewhat "boring". I absolutely loved how the last book tied all the other stories together especially since each book didn't feel as if the story was over. Each ending of the book was so simple yet enthralling. I remember that when I read the books I would read the last page over and over again because I couldn't believe that this was the ending. I remember crying when it came to the last book, Son, not just because of the story, but also because of the ending. It said all that it needed to yet left me craving for more, needing to know what happened after. Though I wish I could know what happened after the last page of the book I truly respect the author, Lois Lowry, for the way he ended the story.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing series I absolutely loved this series. The books are short and easy to read. I love them because they seem fairly simplistic but are actually much more complex than meets the eye. The various plot twists keep you guessing and wanting to read more.
