Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unexpectedly delightful - truly a gem The Gods Lie, is a beautiful coming-of-age and romance short series that takes place during the summer vacation of two young students who learn more about their families, each other, and the harsh realities of modern life. The best part of this story is the characters, who you will love instantly and empathize with throughout the heartwarming moments. The pacing is excellent, maybe a bit rushed but it because it so well done what you want to say in this world with these characters even longer. A cons that it feels rushed because it so good you never want to leave there characters, so really a pro??? The art is crisp and great to read through. Clean lines with just the right amount of bounce to the character drawings and a nice balance between foreground and background. Her writing is good too, she doesn't push too hard in the emotional moments leaving the reader free to respond the Gods Lie makes your heart linger for more – truly a gem #plumreview

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Touching First of all the cover is very beautiful, I love the colours and thankfully the art inside did not disappoint. The story is very cute with an undertone of sadness. It is such a short story and it leaves you wanting so much more. I did tear up at the end and I highly recommend reading this if you want something short but impactful.
