Han Solo soars again—in this awesome trilogy of his extraordinary exploits. Ride with him as he rides to the rescue, narrowly escapes certain death, and foils evil in its ruthelss tracks!

Han Solo trusts no one, and does no favors. But when the best illegal ship rebuilder in the galaxy disappears, Han and Chewbacca agree to go after him—after all, the Millennium Falcon needs some very special repairs. Their search pits them against powerful and ruthless enemies out to destroy them, and finally leads them to an airless speck of desolate asteroid—the Authority prison planet known as Stars’ End.

For a cool ten thousand credits, Han and Chewbacca will do just about anything—except transport slaves. For one thing, it means an instant death sentence. So when a high-paying cargo shipment turns out to be a consignment of slaves, Han and Chewie have to think fast. But Han forms a plan to turn the tables on the slavers and free the captives. Then, good deed accomplished, he scours the skies for the nasty joker who set him up—because revenge can be so sweet.

There’s a fabled treasure at stake and a price on Han’s head. So he and Chewbacca head for a planet rumored to hide undreamedof riches. But once they get there, Han’s beloved spacecraft, the Millennium Falcon, is hijacked by a band of assassins and killer robots. Their chances for survival are so slim, they might as well risk it all.

Features a bonus section following the novel that includes a primer on the Star Wars expanded universe, and over half a dozen excerpts from some of the most popular Star Wars books of the last thirty years!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Like the Original Trilogy.... Somewhat This book, which is a combination of three stories, making it the Han Solo Adventures, reminded me of the original Star Wars Trilogy... to a certain degree. So then, let's start off with At Star's End. Very much like A New Hope; picking up passengers, running through space and blowing up big things. In Revenge, there is nothing really going on that it makes no sense. From slaves to money, ideals change so fast it was confusing at times. As the last of the three stories, you would expect it to be the best. I was sorely disappointed with it. The story was always hinted with mystery but we all know what is going to happen. Now, It is not entirely the author's fault. Mr. Daley cannot kill off Han or Chewbacca because they are in the movies. However, I found the characters to be annoying and frustrating at times, the plots never really went anywhere and the words just seemed to drag on and on and on. At first I thought it was staged like a review; the okay, the bad, the great. Well it was not to be so. I now fully understand why these three stories came out in one tome; I fear that if they came out separately, they would have never sold. I mean not to be mean or cruel to the author and the readers but, I did not enjoy this book. At points, I gave up and it looks me over two months to finish it, I got so discouraged. But the ball is in your court. Make with what you will.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lots of fun These are probably the best of the Star Wars books published prior to the boom following Heir To The Empire. That may not be saying much, but they are fun rather than ponderous, as some of the other Star Wars books are guilty of being. It's best to read these and then read the Han Solo trilogy by A.C. Crispin, which manage to give everyone's favourite scoundrel much more depth.
