Rated 5 out of 5 by from amazingly honest This book was written with so much honesty that it has to be good. So many books are stifled by the fact that the author holds back. Not here this is a one of kind and was hard for me to even put down.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Insightful What a life.. and she hasn't changed much. I had the pleasure of staying with Xaviera at her home in 98. She is a local icon in Amsterdam. She was a fantastic host and a truly amazing and interesting person.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must read!!! Erotic adventure at it's best. This book is a classic portrayal of sexuality without the hangups imposed by "modern" society.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Happy Hooker This book is a classic everyone should try to read. Because Xaveria was propositioned so often as a multilingual secretary at the United Nations, she ended up becoming a madam in New York for two years before she got deported to Canada (where she met yours truly), and eventually got deported to her hometown in Amsterdam, Holland, where she now resides and also actively supports the artists and theatre there.
