Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved this!! This was my favourite book in the entire series. Had the best plot, the most developed characters and I just couldn't put it down! Rick Riordan really knows how to get you hooked.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Read it or forever hold your peace This series is still my all time favorite. I loved how in this book, all of the 7 members got together and that they all had their balanced strengths and weaknesses. Annabeths arc was great and the ending though!! I couldn' wait to read the House of Hades after this!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved it! It was great to finally have all 7 quest members together. It was exciting to experience them getting used to the new dynamic, especially with the clashes between the Greek and Roman demigods. It was awesome, especially since there were way more moments where I laughed so hard I cried! sadly, it ended with yet another cliff hanger!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do yourself a favour and read this book!! Let me tell you how I couldn't get enough of this book. Don't even get me started on the cliffhanger at the end of this book though. I'm still pretty emotional about it because the cliffhanger is pure genius and cruel. This book truly builds on the previous two in the series and you might think the previous two books were good but prepare to be blown away. This book has it all with character and plot development to tons of action. My review can't do this book justice. Do yourself a favour and read this book!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Annabeth Love how the characters take turns telling the story - this one gives Annabeth a role, too. A worthy continuation in the series.

Date published: 2016-12-30
Rated 5 out of 5 by from (Bitter)sweet reunion The beginning is what sold it to me- the reunion and then the total chaos that ensues (won't specify for spoiler reasons) and that continues throughout the book gives it an edge. The cliffhangers will leave you on the edge of your seat! 11/10 book.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally And she speaks!! There is finally Annabeth's point of view, which makes me extremely happy because she is my favourite character. This is my favourite book in the series because there are some reunions and some secrets are discovered, I even enjoy the cliffhanger at the end.
Date published: 2016-11-21
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Annabeth! I am so glad we finally get Annabeth's pov! The seven are all together for this one, and they must make it to Greece, and Annabeth has a special quest to accomplish. Love the Percabeth action here, but there is also some interesting teenage drama among the rest of the seven. Be warned of the cliff hanger at the end of this book, not as neatly tied as Riordan usually leaves us!
Date published: 2016-11-16

Editorial Reviews

PRAISE FOR THE MARK OF ATHENA"Terrifying dreams and enigmatic prophecies mean danger for seven teen demigods, but also good times for fans of The Heroes of Olympus series. This third volume thrusts Percy, Jason, Annabeth, Hazel, Leo, Frank, and Piper into action once again. Throughout the novel, the juxtaposition of humor and terror makes both aspects of the writing more vivid. The demigods use their wits and their weapons skillfully in a string of encounters, and their insecurities make the characters all the more appealing. With a true storyteller's sense of pacing, Riordan creates another compelling adventure, right down to the cliff-hanger at the end. Stay tuned for volume four."-Booklist Online
