William MacLeod Raine, was an American novelist. He worked as a reporter and editorial writer for local newspapers. He was best known for his fictional adventure stories about the American Old West. Twenty of his novels have been screened. Despite his prolificacy, he was a careful, conscientious worker, he was aimed at accurate details, and considered himself a craftsman rather than an artist.
Some say that somewhere there is a world in which the territory of the United States stretches from coast to coast. The story happened in the 19th century, and the border runs along the Mississippi River. Further extended the territory of Indian tribes and the magic of the shamans, headed by chief does not give the Americans to go further. This is a breezy, pleasant and amusing love story of Western mining life. Read the story to plunge into the atmosphere of the old West!
