Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Fun and Light Hearted Deck This is a cute deck filled with sarcastic humour - I love how the deck comes in a recipe box. While this type of humour isn't usually my type of feminism, I really enjoy it for what it is - a cute little thing that you can pull out when you have some girlfriends over. And surprising, it's actually not bad for even serious reading. If you can get over the sarcastic tone of the deck, some of the cards are actually very thoughtful. The Temperance card from this deck is actually my favourite Temperance of all time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A wonderful dose of 1950's Americana with a wicked sense of humor! This is a very cute set. There is a hard recipe card style box to store your cards and booklet in. There are dividers with tabs to keep the major and minor arcanas separate (if you wish to do so) or the dividers can be flipped over, and the backs have been printed with actual recipes (nice touch!). I had intended to purchase this set as a gift for my mom, but liked it so much when I was researching it, that I ended up getting a set for myself too! The backs of the cards are gingham, so if you read reversals they will work for you. The cardstock is decent and the cards shuffle nicely. I love the wicked sense of humor throughout the cards, but that you can get a real reading from these, despite it being a 'fun' set. It may not be my main go-to deck, but it will definitely find it's place in my collection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Such a fun set :) This is a super fun deck and I love the way it was done all the way around, right down to the box, the nice meaty book and recipes. Very nice touches with all that and the cards take me right back in time, it's very well done and just a lot of fun when we are in a fun mood. This is my designated kitchen cards as the images on the box and cards fit perfectly in a kitchen atmosphere. I'm very pleased with my purchase of this set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Universally awesome!! This deck is great for the nostalgia factor, but that is not all it has great applications for both novice and master readers. The deck when you tune into it's vibes resonate that part of oneself that holds on to the hope, beauty, and positive feelings of past and present combined. While not all decks work for all people on reading/spiritual note, this deck does have high compatibility in the diverseness it offers. I loved this deck from the moment I laid eyes on it, and has not let me down in my personal readings. It is definately worth the buy even if you are unsure it is for you, as it is a great price point tarot deck. And for those interested in more of the fun aspects of tarot the imagery is very nice. For those deeply into all things arcane do not discount the power of this deck based on it's pseudo detachment from the traditional set up of other decks. It will divine great things to those who choose to see them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun and the occult I brought back this tarot deck to a friend recently, and it is awesome! It has a very retro presentation, with 50's designs all over it, even a seal of approval from the Housewife occultists of America. The box looks like a recipe box, with tabs in it but instead of cake and cookies, you get minor arcana and major arcana!!!!. The cups are represented by martini glasses, wands with brooms, and swords with steak knives. The instruction booklet explains a few spreads, including the martini spread . You have to take a sip of your martini everytime you flip a card!!!! My friend thoroughly enjoyed it and I loved it so much I bought one for myself. The graphics are so funny and yet it's a real tarot deck even if it's on a light side. Sometimes we need a little fun, even when card-reading
