Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hunger games I thought this was an interesting book. I resisted reading it because of the concept, but after seeing the first movie I decided to read it and then could not put it down. I am an adult and would be cautious about letting a teen read it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The ultimate page-turner There is a danger in buying this as a trilogy: you might find yourself sucked into the story for three times as long. This story is a non-stop page-turner that keeps you on your toes. I'm already trying to decide whether or not to read it all over again. I saw the first two movies before finally reading the books, and I'm happy to say that, while I knew some of what would happen ahead of time, there was so much well-written detail in the books that I didn't care, and the ending was still quite the surprise. Nicely done. I'm beyond impressed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hunger Games We take so many of our freedoms for granted. What would we do if people we entrusted with leadership betrayed that trust to hold us all "hostage"? Would we take the desperate measures these people did? Would we endure the sacrifices & pain they did? I fervently hope we never have too find out! ]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hunger Games Trilogy Very well written. A tragedy however beautiful. Showing that love triumphs and in every evil end there is a choice that can bring positive conclusion or deadly unimaginable end.
