Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Instant Pot Cookbook most of the recipes are for the Duo or the Lux instant pot model and I have an Ultra model. When it calls for the manual button, I just use the pressure button. Good tips on how to convert your recipes into Instant pot recipes and the recipes in the book are easy to follow and the ingredients are easily available in the supermarket

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this! I got to check this book out in depth when someone I know got an instapot last year. I was lucky enough to get an instapot this year for Christmas with a copy of this cookbook. It is a little outdated now because it is for an older model but the machine changes are not that big so it is still incredibly useful. I have made the beef brisket and chicken and dumplings in the week I have had it. Yum. SO good. It is one of those books that you buy and actually use more than once. Worth every penny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cookbook for the new Instant Pot owner! I was disappointed in the little cookbook that came with my Instant Pot as it had very few recipes and none that I was really interested in trying. There are a lot of Instant Pot Cookbooks available so I did some online research. Laurel Randolph's "The Instant Pot Electric Pressure Cooker Cookbook" received good reviews. It was an excellent choice. I purchased the 3-quart Instant Pot and have been halving the recipes in this book for my family of two. The results are more than enough for two - and I made a half recipe of the Brown Butter and Asparagus Risotto and it was plenty for three! Recipes are well written and easy to follow. Ingredients are things you may already have in your house or can very easily get at your closest grocery store. I was intrigued by the recipe for Orange and Lemon Marmalade and intend to try this out, as soon as I can fit it in between cooking fun new dinners in my Instant Pot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent book for the new Instant Pot owner The little recipe book that came with my Instant Pot had few recipes and I wasn't really interested in trying any of them. There are lots of Instant Pot cookbooks out there, but this particular one received excellent online ratings, so I ordered it. I have used it quite a few times in the couple of weeks I have had it. Prior to getting into the recipes, there is an informative section of how-to's. I particularly was pleased to read pages 12-13-14, as there was an explanation for each of the functions on the Instant Pot keypad. I bought the newer 3-quart Instant Pot, and have been halving the recipes in this book for my Pot. This works great and makes more than enough for my family of two, and I made a half recipe of Brown Butter and Asparagus Risotto and it was ample for three people. I also broke up a turkey carcass, placed it in the pot, and was able to make a couple of litres of turkey stock for soup. This book is excellent - well written, easy to understand, with ingredients that might already have. I'd recommend it!

"There has been a lot of commentary about "Instant Pot" books lately, about the many unauthorized uses of the name, and the many free e-books...and some resulting food waste...There have been a couple of books published with permission, and there are some high quality print cookbooks soon to be available, after many long months/years in development.
