As the university is located eight miles from the city of Denver and. Since we had such a large list of initiates, it was found necessary to serve a light lunch at noon and a banquet in the evening. Thanks be to the matron, Mrs. M. Spicer, who arranged one of her noted dinners and which seemed to please all the brothers present.

The evening was spent in completing the initiation and about midnight, everyone being completely worn out, made their way toward a comfortable resting place, looking forward to the entertainment of the next day.
