Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Read I really enjoyed this book. It is a book you could pick up on a day you want to curl up and read. It is an easy and interesting book. Being a mother of one child, I could not image what the poor girls had to go through when they would have to give up the child they cared for when He/ she woudl be 3 years old. Or even the fact they would be sold and the Sisters would be part of this. I had no idea this went on and think that June Goulding did a great thing by telling her story. I believe she was compationate and caring for the difficult situation she was in while working at this home for unwedd mothers.
