However, it comes to have many life lessons about essentially what it is like to be growing up and whilst enjoying the journey of what it has to offer. Overall a very very sweet read : )

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It was okay I bought this book in December because we were reading it for French class. I am not particularly fond of the book, but this book helped a lot and I ended up doing very well on my exam essay. It was an okay read and not much of a kids book. The concepts and lessons are more intended for adults as they are harder to grasp.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Children's Book Aimed at Adults My mother used to often read this book to me and my siblings when we were children and we would often listen to it in audiobook form in the car. Growing up this was always a personal favourite but now that I am an adult I find that I have even more appreciation for it. The simple truths that pervade this novel hit home all the more now that I have grown up. After all are we not all children at heart.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A New Perspective Many of us have read this book in grade school but forget the lessons taught in this book. The way we view things can vary greatly from the original intention. How we approach different viewpoints and problem solving is also brought out in the book. This book shows us how greatly different a child's thoughts are different from an adult's thoughts. An adult's thinking may be at times hard to understand because there is no logic to it, it just keeps going around in circles, so to say. Many people around the world have enjoyed this book, for it has been translated into other languages. Although being a children's book, it is so thought provoking that any person at any age can enjoy it.
Date published: 2012-04-10
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holds such an Important Message I absolutely loved the meaning within this book. Viewing the world through the eyes of a child is so easily forgotten as one grows older, but this book reminds us of the importance of it all. I recommend this book to everyone at any age, but mostly to elementary school teachers!
Date published: 2011-12-30
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the illustrations! An important book for both children and adults alike, with different beauty and meaning every time you read it. www.booksnakereviews.blogspot.com

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing. A must read, this book written by Antoine De Saint-Exupery appeals to all ages. This book revolves around the human condition and the different kinds of people that exist in the world. It goes to show that how we are treated as a child has a big impact of how we go about our futures and our lives. The narrator told the story that when he was younger he tried to draw an boa constrictor with an elephant inside of him. Lots of the adults thought it was a hat and then they told him to stop wasting his time on silly drawings and to focus on more on academics. Had this child been encouraged to draw more, he could have been one of the great artists that many of us admire today. When the Narrator becomes stranded in the desert, the little prince comes to him and he tells the story of his adventures that led him to earth and the many people he met. Some childish, foolish, some selfless...there are many lessons to be learn upon reading this book.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Truly Inspirational Story This book is one of my favorites of all time. I have always herd of this book as being for little kids, but the meaning is far more than a simple child’s story. The Little Prince is a story of a whole new world, and our world at the same time. Reading this book was truly inspirational to me, and I strongly recommend it for those who are curious about the meanings of life. This small yet big book is one I will cherish for the rest of my life.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wonderful short read This book was short but beautifully written, it gives lifes simplest lessons, which we all forget. It is an opportunity to realize what we as humans do and to make changes from then on. I enjoyed this book it was not only a life lesson for the adult reader can learn from but also caters to children as well, it is written in a simplist way however has a powerful messege. You can read this book to your child or any kid and you will learn lots from it too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A book for everybody A marvelous great book which is not only for kids but also more for adults who are too much deep into materialistic life that they don't notice who they became to. I really recommend to all adults to read it several times once a while as a reminder! Don't forget the child inside you.
Date published: 2006-06-02
Rated 4 out of 5 by from more than a kids' story I read this book for the first time in my grade 9 French class and, though I loved it, I took a long time to seek out the English version. I thought that much of what I considered to be the book's charm would be lost in translation and, while this was true to some extent, the tiny, planet-hopping protagonist still proved to be engaging. The Little Prince is witty, wise, beautifully illustrated, and definitely not just for kids.
Date published: 2006-05-31

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfection this book is everything i live and follow. It is the time you have wasted for your rose that makes your rose so important. That line makes me cry like a baby, because i know how true it is. the poetic & simple style of this book will appeal to children and adults and everyone between. read the story of the little prince, and his love for a rose, if you havent already. and if you have, read it again. it changed my life forever.
Date published: 2002-08-19
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful This is the most beautiful book that I have ever read. The complexity and the poetry of the words and the little prince himself and the philosophies make this book so beautiful, quixotic and idyllic. I wish I could meet the little prince, and wrap my arms around his frail little body. This book is so inspirational, it touches a special part of my soul.
Date published: 2001-02-09
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Understanding children This book is a "must read". Upon reading this book, if you don't shame yourself for having become one of those adults who did not understand you when you were a child, you have no feelings. Learn from children.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Little Prince A Prince came to this world to get help from a little boy to create a world for him. Using his imagination, he creates a world for the little prince. Each day he learns more things. IF you wanna find out what happens in the end, buy the book and start reading!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A classic Sometimes being an adult, involved in endless affairs that present no purpose at all, we fail to see simplicity in life. Each time I read The Little Prince, I find something new in my life to cherrish about, a new way to make peace with my inner self. I think the book sends a message to all of us: do not forget the important things in life, such as life itself.
