E.D.E.N Southworth (1819-1899) was an American novelist whose literary legacy counted up to more than sixty novels. She began writing stories in order to support herself and her children financially. She is best known for her novel 'The Hidden Hand' that tells us about a girl who behaves like a boy and finds herseld in various adventures. 'The Lost Lady Of Lone' is a novel by E.D.E.N Southworth first published in 1890. As most of Southworth's works it is set in America after the Civil War.
