Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly recommend this for every child! My favourite Magic School Bus story while I was growing up. This book taught me a lot about the human body and as usual, it's a fun and interactive read. Definitely recommend this book -- and this series -- for every child! (And even adults who are kids at heart!)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Inside the Human Body (The Magic School Bus #3) The Magic School Bus is a popular, fun-filled science series in which a class of public-school students, led by the eccentric Ms. Frizzle, goes on magical field trips to new and unusual places. A wonderful read from my childhood, one I’d certainly suggest for other youngsters. Whilst it is not my all-time favourite childhood read I can still recall all the details of this one meaning it certainly left a lasting impression upon my young mind. And isn’t that what we want with children’s books, for them to leave a positive lasting impression?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A fun and educational science series for kids! I read this book aloud to my children. If you have never read any of The Magic School Bus books to your children, they are missing out! These are amazing science picture books filled with fascinating facts!! Ms. Frizzle is a wacky teacher whose school bus possesses some magical abilities and is able to transform into different objects to take the children on exciting field trips! And these are not any type of field trips that you or I have ever taken! In The Magic School Bus: Inside the Human Body, the school bus shrinks and is accidentally swallowed by Arnold, who is one of the students that dilly-dallied after their picnic and did not make it on the bus with the rest of the students. While Arnold is trying to figure out where his friends and teacher have gone, the class is having an amazing trip through Arnold’s body and learning all about digestion and how our bodies get energy from the food we eat. They learn first-hand how food and blood travel through the body, the function of red and white blood cells, and how the brain and muscles work. My kids love this educational series! There is also an animated television series on PBS that is based on these books, and we enjoy watching the episodes after we read each book. MY RATING: 5 stars!! Highly recommended!
