about

Formerly a child of the streets, now a brilliant computer hacker and NYPD sergeant, Kathleen Mallory's powerful intelligence is matched only by the ferocity with which she pursues her own unpredictable vision of right and wrong. And she will need every bit of that intensity now, in a murder case that strikes close to home in more ways than one.
Carol O'Connell is the author of eight previous Mallory novels, including the national bestseller Winter House, and of Judas Child.

Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Riveting!! Like all of Carol O'Connell's books, "Dead Famous" is extremely well-written. Mallory, the main character, is a female detective and a sociopath. All of the characters are just as complex and fascinating as this one. Moving and thrilling, you really won't want to put it down! I could not reccomend it more highly! Fans of Patricia Cornwell, PD James, and Ruth Rendell will definitelt want to check out Carol O'Connell!
