He's the most feared and successful bounty hunter in the galaxy. He is Boba Fett, and even the most hardened criminals tremble at his name. Now he faces the deadliest challenge of his infamous career--an all-out war against his most dangerous enemies.

As the Rebellion gathers force, Prince Xizor proposes a cunning plan to the Emperor and Darth Vader: smash the power of the Bounty Hunters Guild by turning its members against each other. Only the strongest and most ruthless will survive, and they can be used against the Rebellion. It's a job for the fiercely independent Boba Fett, who jumps at the chance to destroy his rivals. But Fett soon realizes the game is rigged, as he finds himself the target of murderous factions, criminal conspiracies, and the evil at the Empire's dark heart. Boba Fett has always finished first. And in this game, anything less is death.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not sure While reading this tome, I kept on asking myself, When is something going to happen. The most interesting part of it was when we are in the events after Luke, Leia, Han, Chewie and Lando send Jabba into flames. They are fresh and follow the most feared Bounty Hunter in the galaxy. What I did not understand was when we are in the events that come before Return of the Jedi. They are full of new characters and many of them confusing. But what puzzles me the most was this: There is no Bounty Hunter War. The title of this series is deceiving; In this tome, M. Fett only joins the Bounty Hunter Guild. In the following novels, there will be no action between numerous hunters. The only part I might have guessed a *war* would be in the second. But then, don't let my rantings about miscarried titles get to you, for the novel is not all that bad. Minus my confusion, and the length of time it took me to read it, the novel was, on the whole, not that bad.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The Mandalorian Armor WOW! What a great book. It really answers a lot of questions you may have about the most feared bounty hunter in the universe, Boba Fett. I read a lot of SW books, and this is up in my top 10 list. And my, what a cliffhanger ending.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A hunted book I found this book to be a great experience. It was well written, and it had non stop excitement, as well as taking place in two different times (and well put together). The ending, also leaves the reader wondering about Boba Fett's fate.. A book no Fett fan should be without.
