Rated 1 out of 5 by from the cover art alone is not worth looking at it the cover are is terrible let alone the rest of this book . I've worked with real professional mangaka in japan and comic artist. this person is neither and barley call it amateur. look at the arm of the cover art its so unnaturally places and is bigger then the other!!! huge error for someone claiming to be a pro! . poses are unnatural and badly photo shopped. the lessons are not Japanese way it's an American way and not a professional American cartoonist draw better! I think these so called how to draw manga books are a terrible waste of money and time they are never drawn by professionals in the field and are not even japanese. you want to learn the style there are tons of translated books drawn by the professionals out there. I hope that this is just self published cause if its a company that publishes this type of art then I want to slap somebody

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality - Poor purchase I am a HUGE fan of this series of books. Beautiful art and amazing details! I don't know what happened to the amazing artists from the past books, but this was awful! Do not buy this if you're learning how to draw or trying to improve your art. The best parts of this book was laughing at the over use of clip art and sketchy lines. I really hope the next artist chosen to draw for this series isn't a novice.
