Poet and Educator Clement Moore was born on July 15, 1770 in New York City, and was later educated at Columbia College. Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Night Before Christmas This is an entertaining read for the whole family. The story is as pertinent today as it was in the 1800's. The illustrations are beautiful and lead to many discussions about traditions and beliefs. This version is definitely a keeper!
