Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful! We purchased these dictionaries and sent them over to Pakistan for a project to provide books for all the schools being rebuilt after devistating earthquakes a few years ago. The teachers were amazed at them and they were the biggest hit of the day when hundreds of books were revealed to them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not good for beginner Urdu learners This is a good dictionary for peole who speak Urdu as a first language and are at a high-intermediate English level. The words are in English and the difinitions are in Urdu. Don't buy this dicionary if you're learning Urdu and are not at an advanced level; there is no transliteration or English definitions. Likewise, the dictionary won't be helpful if you're an Urdu speaker at a beginners English level. Overall, it's a dictionary for people who are basically fluent in both languages, not a good learners dictionary.
