Books like this one makes everything a whole lot easier and it actually becomes doable to make delicious food even with all the things you have to avoid on an AIP diet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent, detailed resource I'm writing this review because the one review this book had here does no justice at all to the book. The first part is absolutely more than differentiating spoons from spatuals. The author gives an extensive guide in how to make switching to paleo autoimmune protocol more manageable. Switiching to a diet that seems to limit a lot of what you had can be quite overwhelming, but Sarah gives you a very detailed map how to navigate through it so that your diet can be successful in giving you the desired relief from your health issues. In recipes, she also lists some tips as to how to modify the recipe depending on your diet/health history as well as your kitchen equipment availability. I will say, it is not for everybody, but if you are trying to heal your autoimmune illnesses through food, this book is worth your attention.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Would not buy for myself... I bought this as a gift for someone (it was on their wish list). I flipped through some of the pages and the book is not something I would get for myself. This is a fairly large book and I was disappointed in the amount of recipes actually inside. I thought that a huge part of the book was wasted on the basic information that is common knowledge to anyone who has spent time in a kitchen. I don't know of many people who can't identify a spoon or spatula. All of Part 1 in the book is wasted on topics such as where you can buy food, how to stock a pantry, managing your time in the kitchen, etc. It isn't until Part 2 (a whole 107 pages in) that we finally get to actual recipes!
