about

Join the millions of readers who have discovered The Pigman, the beloved bestselling young adult classic from Paul Zindel, the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds.

The Pigman is the perfect read for fans of modern classics like The Outsiders by S. E. Hinton and Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher.

But when their friendship ends in tragedy, the only way for John and Lorraine to find peace is to write down their friend's story—the true story of the Pigman.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A great read I remember reading this book in my grade 7 English class and can fondly recall not being able to put it down. The assignments related to this book became exciting because I could not stop talking about this book and by the time the class was supposed to be done with it, I had already finished the sequel as well!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great This is one of the only books I was forced to read in high school that I really connected with. I went on to read all of Paul Zindel's other work (that was available at the time). I'm looking forward to buying a copy for my son (and giving it another read myself).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome book Read this book in school in English class! Loved it then love it now. Typical teenage prank turns into something amazing for John and Lorraine that they never imagined it would. Befriending an old man and telling his story!
