Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great ideas, but recipes fell flat I saw Ree on TV and I loved her. She has a great sense of humour and seems like a lovely person. I bought her cookbook with expectations of good wholesome down home recipes. I've made a few receipes and was disappointed. The recipes lack flavour and are very amateur. The use of velveeta was especially disappointing. She had great suggestions for freezing items, but I will likely send this book off to goodwill.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy, family-friendly and delicious recipes all in one I bought this book about a month ago and every recipe I have made so far has been delicious and very well received by my family (except for my very picky son, but we are in a chicken finger, pizza and grilled cheese stage which I am praying he will get over soon!). The recipes are easy to follow and include easy to find ingredients which is a problem I have with a lot of cookbooks. The 16 minute meal section has become my go to section as a fulltime working wife and mom of two. This is a definite buy on my list!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All around great cookbook! This is the second cookbook I have bought of hers and I love them both. I have tried many of her recipes, all have turned out amazing. This is an all around fantastic cookbook. Pictures for all of her recipes, simple step by step instructions (with pictures), easy to find ingredients. You will notice that she uses a lot of butter and heavy cream in her recipes... you don't have to if you don't want to! Very simple changes to make and have not failed me yet. I highly recommend to buy this book.
