The third book in the #1 New York Times bestselling Princess Diaries series by Meg Cabot.

Princess Mia may seem like the luckiest girl ever. But the truth is, she spends all her time doing one of three things: preparing for her nerve-racking entrée into Genovian society, slogging through the congestion unique to Manhattan in December, and avoiding further smooches from her hapless boyfriend, Kenny. For Mia, being a princess in love is not the fairy tale it’s supposed to be...or is it?

Princess in Love is the third book in the beloved, bestselling series that inspired the feature film starring Anne Hathaway and Julie Andrews. Beautifully repackaged in paperback, this title will appeal to new readers as well as fans looking to update their collection.

Meg Cabot was born in Bloomington, Indiana. In addition to her adult contemporary fiction, she is the author of the bestselling young adult fiction series The Princess Diaries. She lives in Key West, Florida, with her husband.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from be careful what you wish for! "Roses are red Violets are blue you may not know it But someone loves you" After wishing for so long to finally have a boyfriend, Mia starts dating Kenny, just to come to the realization that she doesn't eve like him! I started reading this book serie because I just started school and wanted something quick and fun to read. After reading book two, I completely fell in love with Mia and now I adore her! Yes, she can be over dramatic at times but let's be honest people... who wasn't like that back in the 9th grade? I pretty much spent the whole book rooting for her and saying "you go girl" everytime she accomplished something haha. Do not expect going into these books something out of this world because that's not what they are about. I mean Mia is a princess, but she is also down to earth and is dealing with the same problems that any teenager at that age would. All the characters are lovable and have such different personalities... that's what makes it so much fun to read and enjoy. I know lilly is her best friend but my personal favourite is actually Tina Hakim Baba and Michael because he is just such a babe (: Probably my favourite so far <3

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Once again, charming. I'm really enjoying how close these books are to each other, in terms of chronology. It keeps the story consistent and fast paced.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average Mia Thermopolis, princess of Genovia, a small country in Europe, is in love. The only problem is that she's not in love with her boyfriend, but with her best friend's older brother. To add to her troubles, she has finals coming up soon and is worried that she won't be able to pass Algebra, her mom is pregnant, and her Grandmother still insists she complete princess training before she heads to her first official visit of Genovia. Like the previous two books, this one is written in the form of Mia's diary. She is a bit over dramatic, as I suppose most girls that age are. Despite that, it was still entertaining and an easy read. This series has at least 10 books in it and I only have one more in my collection. Once I finish the forth book in the series, I'm not quite sure I'll continue on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best of the Series If you're going to buy any of the books in the series, it should be this one. You have to love a good romance.
