Nor have her own subjects, for that matter. But Genovian politics are nothing next to Mia's real troubles. Between canceled dates with her long-sought-after royal consort, a second semester of the dreaded Algebra, more princess lessons from Grandmère, and the inability to stop gnawing on her fingernails, isn't there anything Mia is good at besides inheriting an unwanted royal title?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent. Probably my least favourite of the series so far, but still solid. Also, the formatting on the reader version is a little wonky, which made for a difficult read.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Another Story, the Series is Moving Forward Again Meg Cabot continues on with her amazing series of the Princess Diaries. Many people may be bored with this series but not me. Still moving forward and changing, ever interesting, every time. Don't give up the series just yet! Read this book! Meg Cabot is yet to disappoint me, and her incredible writing has inspired me. I've started writing my own stories and some day I hope that someone will be able to review my own books someday.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from not awesome but not awful this book was pretty good. at first wen i read da beginning i was like o man this is so boring and i stopped reading it. i just started reading it again wen i was at camping about 1 week ago. i found it a lot more interesting this time and i couldn't stop reading it. after i was done i kept reading and reading it over again. but the only thing is that she is way too obsessed with michael!!! it gets boring about how she writes and writes and writes about him. but over all i would say u should definitly read this book!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok but not the best I've read all the princess Diary books and unfortunately I was very disappointed with this one. In the previous books you were looking forward to something substantial to happen such as the marriage of her mother to her algebra teacher. In this book, Princess in Waiting I had nothing to look forward to except the end of the book.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Princess in Waiting I have read the whole Princess Diaries series by Meg Cabot, and even though i'm only 3/4 of the way through her latest book, Princess in waiting, i have to say it is THE BEST one in the series! Its got a fresh new start and is funny too. I rank it as a 4, because i haven't finsihed reading it completly, but u should read this book!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect I think that the book was great. Not as good as some that I have read but it would for sure be in my top 25 list. To anyone who says that the movie was better you are wrong. The movie was different as can bee from the book and both were exelent unlike many movies that are made for books.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The princess diaries Volume IV Princess in Waiting I found it to be at an average scale because it lacked something.....maybe it was the personality difference Mia has gone through. She never seems to grow up...even though she is the princess of Genovia. The romance between Mia and her boyfriend was nicely written but other than that it wasn't as good as the last two.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BETTER BOOK THAN MOVIE!! I disagree, the book is ten times better than the movie!! The book is hysterical, especially the grandmother. The grandmother character in the movie was good but not as funny as in the book! This is definitely the best book in the series.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not Bad It made a better movie then a book. I think that the people that write good books should make them into movies it would be awesome. And I like to sat that when they make them into movies it is much better for us who don't really like to read and rather watch a movie to get a better picture thank you.
