about

Famed Charles Manson prosecutor and three time #1 New York Times bestselling author Vincent Bugliosi has written the most powerful, explosive, and thought-provoking book of his storied career.

In The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder, Bugliosi presents a tight, meticulously researched legal case that puts George W. Bush on trial in an American courtroom for the murder of nearly 4,000 American soldiers fighting the war in Iraq. Bugliosi sets forth the legal architecture and incontrovertible evidence that President Bush took this nation to war in Iraq under false pretenses—a war that has not only caused the deaths of American soldiers but also over 100,000 innocent Iraqi men, women, and children; cost the United States over one trillion dollars thus far with no end in sight; and alienated many American allies in the Western world.

As a prosecutor who is dedicated to seeking justice, Bugliosi, in his inimitable style, delivers a non-partisan argument, free from party lines and instead based upon hard facts and pure objectivity.

A searing indictment of the President and his administration, The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder also outlines a legally credible pathway to holding our highest government officials accountable for their actions, thereby creating a framework for future occupants of the oval office.

Vincent Bugliosi calls for the United States of America to return to the great nation it once was and can be again. He believes the first step to achieving this goal is to bring those responsible for the war in Iraq to justice.

Vincent Bugliosi received his law degree in 1964. In his career at the L.A. County District Attorney’s office, he successfully prosecuted 105 out of 106 felony jury trials, including 21 murder convictions without a single loss. His most famous trial, the Charles Manson case, became the basis of his classic, Helter Skelter, the biggest ...

Reviews

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A good try but overdone by the author's tendency to give off more heat than light This book details an interesting subject, the criminal prosecution of George W Bush over the 2003 Iraq war. Unfortunately, the author seems more interested in lobbing insults at Bush America, foreign policy and American society. He cites himself much too often and he focuses to little on the law. I hope another book handles this topic better. This book is unfortunately not recommended

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No other lawyer in America is this brave!!! Vincent Bugliosi knows how to throw a right cross. I am sure if George W. Bush was capable of reading this book he would be ducking for cover already. Not afraid to pull a punch Bugliosi nails Bush on almost every page and if not George either the media, his supporters and even the American public for buying what the Bush administration told them over the past 6 years. This is a blue print for taking George to trail in the US and Bugliosi makes the building he has designed hold up rather well. At times his Democratic zeal gets the better of him, but the errors made by the Bush White House haven't been published in such an easy to read and understand light. They should be handing this out at the Democratic convention and put up a stand outside the Republican one next week to open some eyes in America. The title won't happen but it is refreshing to see someone boldly go out and state the criminality of the Bush White House for anyone interested to see.
