Rated 5 out of 5 by from Her best one The Raven Prince, in my opinion, is Elizabeth Hoyt's best book. My opinion might be biased because I do enjoy the beauty and the beast theme (even though Anna is supposedly to be ordinary), but this story was actually so well written. The characters were great and I really enjoyed reading about their relationship. Highly recommended for any romance lover.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a treat this book turned out to be!! This is one of the best books I've read this year. It's hard to believe it's her debut book. Edward is a gruff and short tempered on the outside but lonely on the inside Earl. He's chased away all his previous secretaries with his grouchy ways. Anna is a down on her luck widow who finagles her way into his employment. Rather than being put off by him, she begins to delight in standing up to him. Their attraction to each other is deep and powerful, but Edward is bound and determined to marry someone of his own class and start a family of his own after losing his years ago. Edward is adorable and Anna is a delight. I think anyone reading this will be as charmed as I was. It was funny and tender and sad and poignant. It's a real treasure!
