Mark the language of verse twentyone, " But he spake of the temple of his body." What else could the Jews destroy ? They could destroy his body, that is, they could kill his body, and nothing but his body; and the same body which the Jews could, and would destroy, he would raise up in three days after. Let us now see how the event fulfilled these prophecies: (Luke xxiv, 1-8)--" Now, upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.
