Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid classic If you're looking to add some classic kid lit to your shelf, this book is a solid pick. It really does stand the test of time and has some repetition that is engaging for children along with beautiful illustrations. I had this book in paperback growing up and I am so happy to see it as a board book, because I think it is just perfect for that 18 month to four year old range. Would recommend.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I'm not sure if I like the message in this book... I do like the flow of the book but I'm just not sure if I like the message. Yes, it shows a mother's love for her child, but I don't want to read to my baby about a child wanting to get away from the mother but gave up because it was too much work to do so?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sweet Story I find that although it's a short read it drags a little bit. Nonetheless, my daughter loves the story and she often imitates the bunny and asks me to imitate the mommy bunny so we relive the story through imaginary play.

“Delightful. What mother, human, or rabbit, doesn’t want to keep that new little one in their sight at all times?”
