Rated 5 out of 5 by from Such a great idea for a book! Such a great idea for a book! I really loved this, the stories were delightful and very well-written, and the book itself is so beautiful! I’ll admit I’m a sucker for stuff like that but I just love the cover and the layout of the pages, it’s adorable. I recommend this to all my design nerd friends, but this is a great little read for anyone who likes art, design, and/or history.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love it! This book is so beautiful and amazing. The book is divided into sections of the main colours and then several colours are chosen of which the author provides 1-3 page history for each colour. Each page has a side border of the colour. The story behind each colour is fascinating, surprising, and well-researched. It's an interesting read for anybody who had wondered where lead white, Kelly green, or Indian red came from!
