Rated 3 out of 5 by from Interesting read I wouldn't call it amazing, but it was still an interesting read. However, not sure whether it's really worth the read unless you're an extremely big fan of the series. I enjoyed seeing some things from Maxon and Aspen's perspectives, but nothing really felt new about it and it didn't make me view either of the characters differently. For those on the fence about buying this, don't bother, it doesn't really add anything to the story.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great addition to the series! This book contains two wonderful short stories from the p.o.v of Maxon and Aspen. Great insight into both characters and their feelings. A must read for any fans of the Selection Series.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MUST READ After The First Three Books In The Series! I read this book about a month ago after I read The Selection, The Elite, and The One, and I'm so happy I did! This book is a must read for all Selection fans out there as it is in the perspective of Maxon and Aspen. Read to find out how deeply Maxon's love for America runs in his heart, and how Aspen feels as his first love is drifting away from his reach. I would definitely recommend this to everyone I know that has read The Selection Series.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very interesting I must say that I quite enjoyed this book. It was interesting seeing things through different point of views. Before reading this book, I wasn't always certain if Aspen's feelings toward America were genuine. Now, I can be sure that he does love her very profoundly. It also brought me closer to Aspen whom I didn't feel very close to as opposed to Maxon. I really liked the family trees! I have always been intrigued by the characters' backrounds and having a family tree for Maxon, America and Aspen was a treat.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A good addition to the series I read these novellas after completing the trilogy along with The Heir. I liked these companions to the original novels. I felt that by reading through both Maxon and Aspen's views I got more information that I didn't know through only reading from America's view point. I'm glad that these were published as novellas and kept separate from the original novels but definitely an appreciated addition to the series! It truly showed how much thought Kiera Cass put into her characters and the storyline.
