Love heals even the deepest wounds…

The wounded werewolf…
After being held in captivity by scientists for months, Colin Fraser needs rest and recuperation. The Scottish Highlands offer him the perfect place to get much-needed distance from the world and repair the bond with his inner beast.

The selkie’s search…
Unna Mikkelsen is being urged to mate with a selkie man she doesn’t care for. But she’ll never forget how, as a young girl, she saw her mother taken by a fisherman. Knowing she must make her peace with the world above the waves, she leaves the deep for dry land—even though this means she’s putting herself into danger.

The power of immortal love…
When Colin notices Unna in the pub, he realizes there’s more to her than meets the eye. But he fights his feelings for her—how can a wolf as broken as he is have a relationship? Little does he know Unna will need him when her pelt is stolen by a fisherman, causing her to relive her childhood trauma. Or how much he’ll need her too, because only her love can heal his wounds…

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Selkie Who Loved a Wolf Colin Fraser needs to the repair the bond with his inner beast and in order to do that he needs distance from the world but Unna Mikkelsen needs his help when her pelt is stolen in this enthralling paranormal romance. Unna needs to make peace with the world above the waves even though this means that she’s putting herself into danger and the reader can’t help but be drawn to these strong captivating characters as they heal each other’s wounds. The romance is on the sweet side with lots of emotional turmoil to capture the heart and expectation builds lots of excitement as the danger escalates as a result of Unna’s pelt being stolen and not to mention that Unna has family obligations that pull her back to the sea. This well written, fast paced and smooth flowing plot keeps readers glued to the pages with intriguing events full of suspense, excitement and romance. I was once again captivated by a Cry Wolf story, that it takes place in the Highlands makes it even more captivating, although I’m not sure about how Colin and Unna will get around her father’s ultimatum, but I’m sure I will be seeing more of them in the future books, so no worries. 4 ½ STARS
