Rated 5 out of 5 by from I really liked this approach to sleep. I particularly found the writer's ideas on levels of crying to be helpful in knowing how to read my baby's cries and to know when to act and when to wait. It really gave me a lot of calm and structure with my first baby when she was still waking in the night at four and a half months. With my second child, we followed these ideas from the beginning and she was sleeping through with no issues from nine weeks despite being a slightly early baby. I never had to leave her to settle herself even. It meant being able to start recharging batteries and being as awake for my children through the day as possible.
