about

Whilst walking in the bluebell woods with her Grandpapa, Franzie meets Crystalbelle, a tiny fairy. who explains that she is an elemental. Crystalbelle rides a beautiful tiny and kind, friendly golden dragon called Radykon.

Franzie has a private place, her own little house at the bottom of the garden where she and her teddy play. Her teddy always wears a large spotted blue bow and because he always looks so smart she calls him Smart Teddy. This is where she arranges to see her new friends.

Chrystalbelle, the fairy comes from Tara, a magical land and Franzie and teddy are invited to explore Tara. Radykon, the dragon, creates a portal into this land by breathing a silver circular flame. In Tara Crystalbelle is no longer tiny, and Radykon is a huge dragon and a delighted teddy is able to talk and walk.

The summer solstice is coming and Franzie and her teddy embark on a journey into Crystalbelle’s land where they, witness a lovely, rare and ancient ceremony.

There are so many surprises in the land of Tara. Crystalbelle and Radykon take them to the sea, to meet Oppian the dolphin who takes them to an underwater city. Here they meet a race of people who had chosen to live under the sea many thousands of years ago.
