Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lots of comfort food recipes and helpful tips for those new to cooking with cast iron This cookbook has chapters such as Breakfast, Biscuits and Breads, Fixin's, Seafood, Poultry, Meat and Dessert. It helps so what a versatile cook a cast iron pan is. I love mine and use them frequently. You could cook entire meals in 1-2 of these. If you're new to cast iron, or are concerned about fat/calories, you might not enjoy this book, or style of cooking. Because they are not non-stick, even a well-seasoned pan will require so fat for cooking. I've made about half of the recipes so far, and like all recipes, I have tweaking a few, but overall, I really like the book, and in my opinion it is good value for money, and very useful.
