Rated 3 out of 5 by from You will learn a lot from this book! Starbucks experience examines the inner workings of a company that has taken an ordinary product and transformed it into and extraordinary business success. The author Joseph A. Michelli developed five business principles that drove Starbucks success and he explains them throughout the book. I actually liked this book and thought that it was very interesting. Starbucks is extremely successful and it was interesting to see how they made their way to the top. The principles that the author derived can be applied to many different businesses and I will be using them when I venture out into the business world. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to enter the business world or to anyone who is already involved in business, you will learn a lot and won't be disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Recipe to Create Your Own Empire Valuable business lessons for those interested in a refreshingly ethical business model. I read many business books and found this to be one of the most easy to read, short chapters, lots of examples and simple language. The concepts were very easy to apply to my real estate business, and I'm certain anyone else's business. Anyone that can create a business empire from a simple coffee shop concept is worth listening to. A little sugar coated, but you can hardly expect an unbiased perspective with the corporate logo prominently on the jacket cover.
