The Magnificent Conclusion to the Timeless Epic Saga

Through years of war and devastation, Tatiana and Alexander suffered the worst the twentieth century had to offer. Miraculously reunited in America, they now have a beautiful son, Anthony, the gift of a love strong enough to survive the most terrible upheavals. Though they are still young, the ordeals they endured have changed them—and after living apart in a world laid waste, they must now find a way to live together in postwar America.

With the Cold War rising, dark forces at work in their adopted country threaten their lives, their family, and their hard-won peace. To regain the happiness they once knew, to wash away the lingering pain of the past, two lovers grown distant must somehow forge a new life . . .or watch the ghosts of their yesterdays destroy their firstborn son.

The Summer Garden . . . their odyssey is just beginning.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from ... It's so different than the two first book that I didn't like as much as the others. Overall it was .. okay but it didn't met my expectations. There were scenes in this book where I dislike Alexander!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You need to finish the saga! The last installments of this series isn't quite like the other two reads but you need to know how it ends. Thrilling story!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not at all like the first 2 novels. Enjoyed this book, but it was definitely my least favourite out of all three. I liked that it showed the struggles that they both faced during their marriage to find their "american dream". I enjoyed that Anthony was just like his father in many ways but always stood up for his mother, and protected her with all he had. The points that I didn't enjoy was when they seemed to do some things that were very uncharacteristic.. like *SPOILERS* Alexander cheating on Tatiana... that just blew my mind that that was even a part of the book. I wish this book would have focused more on when Antman grew up and joined the army and the struggles with that.. it was in the last bit of the book and was most enjoyable after the beginning part of the novel ! I will definitely re-read the other two.. this one probably not!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Breathtakingly beautiful What a beautiful trilogy. I've lived and loved, cried and rejoiced along side Tatiana and Alexander. I have no words to describe how touching the story is. I'll never forget it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Summer Garden:A Novel A wonderful conclussion to an epic story. The characters feel like family members and they suffer from real problems, real drama and life-like strife. Well done. I will revisit this family again and again.
