about

Identical twins. Identical DNA. Identical suspects. It’s Pretty Little Liars meets Revenge in this edge-of-your-seat thriller with a shocking twist.

IT STARTED AS A JOKE.
When they were little, Lexi and her identical twin, Ava, made up a third sister, Alicia. If something broke? Alicia did it. Alicia was always to blame for everything.

NOW THE GAME IS ALL GROWN UP.
The girls are seniors, and they use Alicia as their cover to go out with guys who they'd never, ever be with in real life. But sometimes games just aren't worth playing. A boy has turned up dead, and DNA evidence and surveillance photos point to only one suspect—Alicia. The girl who doesn’t exist.

IDENTICAL TWINS. IDENTICAL DNA. IDENTICAL SUSPECTS.
Ava insists that if they keep following the rules for being Alicia, everything will be fine. But Lexi isn't so sure. She must find the truth before another boy is murdered.

BECAUSE EITHER AVA IS A KILLER . . . OR ALICIA IS REAL.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Enthralling concept. Somewhat disappointing execution. The idea of identical twin girls creating a triplet to secretly run amok is fascinating. The novel lives up to its concept until you get about half way through. The ending is anticlimactic and a total disappointment. Omololu definitely had a talent for writing. It is unfortunate that she has recently passed away. I would love to have read more books by her.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Book for an Easier Read I really enjoyed this book, especially the beginning. Like other reviewers have stated, it started to lose steam towards the end but all in all I found it to be an enjoyable book. There were definitely parts of suspense as well as some twists, I had an idea a couple of times who the killer was, but in the end it was a completely different person. This book is definitely a easier read with a good mystery Incorporated into it!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from From good to bad The first half of this book really hooked me in. It was suspenseful, mysterious, and really made you wonder what was actually going on, and then...just disappointment. I found the characters seemed to be acting outside of themselves, the suspense was lost, and some of the plot didn't even make any sense. Overall, it's just an okay read, since the great beginning and meh ending negate each other out. Strong endings are just as important as strong beginnings, since readers want to see the result of the build-up, but this is one book that falls short.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Suspenseful beginning... This book is great up until the middle. After that point, the characters become unbelievable and the plot more and more convoluted. The premise had great potential but the final product unfortunately did not live up to it. Still, it's a fun enough distraction on a lazy afternoon. The author has a knack for writing the inner monologue of teenage girls. I was saddened to find that the author passed away quite recently. I had been looking forward to reading more from this author. May she rest in peace. :'(
