Editorial Reviews

5-Stars For All the Literal Kids: Most kids are very literal. My son more than most. So, when Thumb says "Go take a hike," he's going to have to think twice, or he will put on his shoes and go. This book has charming examples of this, and uses them to teach kids to turn a negative into a positive. And a the end, you get to make your own Thumb with a good attitude.5-Stars Two Thumbs Up: Great book to share with young kids that are having a hard tine with classmates. Thumby encourages the characters to keep going after they gave been told to take a hike, jump in the lake and many more! I love how a negative is turned around! The extra activity at the end of the book is clever too- off to decorate my thumbs!5-Stars Positive: The book is positive and upbeat it gives kids away to combat bullying. My kids loved how the variety of characters on each page said something funny. Very creative had us all talking with our thumbs afterwards and being silly, We look forward to using some of the thumb character ideas soon!
