Rescued and taken to the home of Lewen, a young man just beginning to understand his own magical potential, Rhiannon is fascinated by the human world and by Lewen. Together they travel through a land where the dead walk and ghosts haunt the living, a place where Rhiannon encounters dark forces that endanger all of Eileanan. But to save the land, she must convince Lewen and the other apprentice-witches to trust the word of a wild half-human girl.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Too good to go unread! The Tower of Ravens by Kate Forsyth is an enjoyable read for older teens and above. Filled with mystery, romance, and suspense this book will make you want to skip classes or work just so you can grab a coffee and a warm blanket and read. The development of this unnamed girl brought up in a herd of wild half-humans to a gorgeous woman "Rhiannon" was one of the few beautiful character developments along with Lewen discovering what he really wanted in life. The Celtic dialogue brought the characters to life and almost every character introduced was in a way dynamic. All in all, this book is an excellent way to waste your time. READ IT!
