And eight nights ago a 13-year-old runaway bled to death on his kitchen floor. Now Derek wants the truth about what happened that night. He wants proof his little brother didn't deserve to die. For every lie Chris tells, he will lose a finger. But telling the truth is far more dangerous? A riveting, edge-of-your-seat thriller from Edgar Award-nominated author Jeffry W. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good! Great book! It was a lot better than I was expecting. I originally got it thinking it would be a good way to pass the time, but it was so good I had to stop myself from finishing it in one go! The way the story was told in 'then' and 'now' was awesome and keeps you wondering exactly what happened. I loved the ending! Very unexpected.
