Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Two Sisters of Borneo Although, in my reading, I came across a couple of grammatical errors (missing words) it did not stop me from reading non stop, cover to cover. I have read all the Ava Lee novels to date and look forward to #7 with great anticipation. Keep up the great writing and thanks.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Much anticipated - enjoyed most of it This book was extremely good up to the end.  It appears that Ian was more interested in setting up his next book without finishing the story of how Ava recovered the balance of the money from rest of the culprits.  Finding and recovering the missing funds is the part I enjoy about the series.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ms. Enjoyed the recent addition in the series. Some minor grammatical errors here and there but nothing that hampered the story. Thrilled to have a female heroine who is so normal. Will miss Uncle and wondered why he was killed off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More Riveting Action and Exciting Locales! Ian Hamilton’s latest book, The Two Sisters of Borneo, begins with a glimpse of Hong Kong’s elite, as Ava’s half-brother Michael marries her friend Amanda. Before the wedding begins there are hints of the trouble to come, and before long Ava is chasing thieves around the world. As always, we are treated to fascinating details of exotic fashion, food, and settings which provide insights into the characters and plot lines. This time Ava puts her life at risk as she visits Borneo, Shanghai, and the Netherlands in her pursuit of thugs and thieves. Ava remains an original, fresh, and captivating heroine. I can’t wait for the next one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ava Lee Does It Again I just spent an exciting afternoon with Ava Lee on a train ride from Toronto to Montreal. Reading "The Two Sisters of Borneo" made an otherwise boring trip pass very quickly. In this adventure, Ava Lee gets involved in a complicated family situation involving fraud, deception and violence with the added twist that she and her business partners stand to lose a lot of money. This book is a great read that will challenge some more gender stereotypes. I highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A gripping, rollercoaster of a read!! From Hong Kong to the Netherlands to Borneo, Ava turns her unique investigation skills to saving the fortunes of 2 sisters, whose business is threatened by persons unknown, facing down ruthless thugs along the way. At the same time, Ava’s personal life is impacted by a terrible loss. I found it amazing to realize, with this sixth book, how much I had come to care not only about Ava but about the people who surround her. This is a yet another very solid and extremely satisfying book in this wonderful series.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Couldn't Put It Down I was saving this book to take on vacation.  2 days before I left I thought I would take a little peek.  I finished it before I boarded the plane!  Couldn't put it down.  This series just gets better and better.  I am so attached to these characters and can't wait to read what happens next to them.
