The authors' aim in this book is to give a pedagogical introduction to the helicity method, illustrated by many examples, and to summarize some ten years of research on the subject. Only some degree of familiarity with Feynman diagrams and Dirac algebra is required from the reader. The bookalso provides an extensive list of helicity amplitudes and cross-sections for many of the most important QED and QCD processes at high energies, some being new and not available in the literature previously.
R. Gastmans, Professor, Institute for Theoretical Physics, University of Leuven, and Research Director, National Fund for Scientific Research. Tai Tsun Wu, Gordon Mackay Professor of Applied Physics, Harvard University.

Editorial Reviews

'This book ought to be in every physics department library. Most high-energy physicists would benefit from reading at least the first three chapters. It is a remarkable book.'Professor J. C. Taylor (University of Cambridge), Contemporary Physics, Volume 32, No. 3 1991
