Reviews

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good info but no overall structure Pretty superficial although the exercise descriptions are valuable. It's a collection of blog-like essays that don't hold together so the book lacks an overall plan. For example, the author starts with a skiing elated exercise sequence, then takes off into his essays, then turns to descriptions of individual exercises (the best part of the book), and offers exercise programs that are valuable but don't relate to his initial discussion of ski training. A more coherent approach can be found in Training for the New Alpinism but House & Johnson.
