Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fifty-fifty This book wants to be humour. It really does. And - to be fair - I laughed here and there throughout it. It's supposed to be a fun romp through the slightly crazy stereotypes and patterns of your typical Gay Man, and showing you how to be said typical Gay Man. Okay, all that aside, this book often bugged me. The humour is often shallow, crude, and so full of stereotypes that when I wasn't laughing, I was sighing. And there's just enough reality to this representation of the "Gay culture" that really underlined all the stuff I couldn't stand about gay culture - and was built entirely on the stereotypes. I dunno - my friends are about 50/50 on this one: half loved it and laughed themselves silly, the other half were annoyed, like me.
