Rated 4 out of 5 by from Struggling to Survive. . . Continuing the epic struggle for survival in book five of The Walking Dead. This is a collection of comics #49-60. With the fall of there safe haven, Rick and Carl start out on there own. Fate is on there side as they are not alone long before they meet up with some recently lost friends. Well back at Hershel's farm they come across new friends to add to the group and finally a directions towards an end to there nightmares. But on a detour, Rick, Carl and new friend Abraham find that there path has crossed with monsters of men, and reunite with a lost comrade from the beginning only to be followed by a herd of Zombies that will change plans for the worse or better? Good collection. Enjoy it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect comic for mature readers This book picks up at issue 49 of the comic series, right after the confrontation with Woodbury. The book is split into chapter nine and ten of the overall series - these chapters contain some of the most affecting, human moments the book has offered yet.. The writing, art, characters, and story are all amazing. I strongly recommend new readers start at the beginning, but those who've been reading along already know how great this series is!!!
